Return/Exchange with Debit Card?

I just bought something at Urban Outfitters which is pretty far from me and I bought the wrong thing and need to exchange it. I bought it with my debit card, is there anyway my friend can go down and exchange it for me? Can I just give him my debit card and have him exchange it? Do they ask for ID with the Debit Card at the return?

I would call them first and ask them the same question.

They would probably credit your card.  I don't think they

would exchange it.  Give them the card, and yes give your Friend the password.  Get the Credit receipt.

Then he can buy the right thing using the same card.

Most likely you would get it credited back into your debit card. I think you might need to tell your friend your pin. If they do not credit you back on your debit card, they would most likely give you a cash back refund.
