Return a car??

I just bought a Chevy Impala yesterday and I am feeling this vibration on the gas pedal when I'm accelerating. I am now very weary about this. There is a limited 3,000 mile warranty but don't know if that vibration is covered. I won't be able to reach the dealer until maybe Saturday, but the repair department isn't open to do repairs until Monday. Believe, if the car is fixable I would love to keep, but if this turns ugly (ie. dealer charges for repairs or refuses to fix problem) can I return the car? Here is what has occurred already. I signed the delivery and conditional sale agreement forms, the buyers order, I have been to my lender and have been approved for the loan, but I have NOT gotten the check to give to the Car dealership. I did however put down $1500 via credit card.

The gas pedal is solidly connected via hard cable to an internal combustion engine.  It should be vibrating.  Before you get in an argument with the dealer, make them give you a test drive in 10 other impalas and rate all the gas pedals for NVH smoothness.

My Life 666 - Please show a link to such a law. This probably does not apply to vehicle purchases.

No state has such a law, except California, and you have to purchase that right up-front in CA.

If you did indeed get a warranty on the car, it "should" be covered. Read the contract you signed on the warranty closely.

If it's a light vibration, then it's usually normal and I wouldn't worry. How harsh is the vibration? If it's in the brake pedal, then worry regardless.

**EDIT** -- hopefully that 3,000 mile warranty covers it. Was it a "bumper-to-bumper" warranty? What year is the Impala?

Nevada state law, you have 2 weeks to return the vehicle and reverse/void the contract. Are you in Nevada, USA?

There is no right to rescind law If you haven't finished the purchase then DON'T there are lots of other cars out there.
