Return policy??

I bought a sweatshirt from a college's online bookstore. i'm not satisfied with it and I want to return it. on the return paper is says "items must be returned prepaid and we suggest that you insure the shipment".....what does that mean??

oh and i'm returning the item, not exchanging it.

  1. The "prepaid" reference is about shipping cost.  It means they won't accept the package if there is a recipient (shipping) charge to them... the shipping for the return must be paid by the sender (you) AND they suggest you pay extra for insurance on the package while it is in transit just in case it is damaged (it could get wet, torn, crushed, etc).


  2. That means you have to pay for shipping to return the item and they recommend that you insure the shipment against loss or damage.
