Return to castle Wolfenstein... Help.?

Question

Does anyone know how to unlock or open the doors in the church in castle Wolfenstein? They show a hand to open them but when you try they won't open. This is the church before the defiled church.

I have tried everything but to no avail.It is the PC. version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Phew that game is pretty old.  I beat it, but don't remember much about it.

Your best bet is to check gamefaqs.com.  They have several walkthroughs.
