Returning A Camera?

Question

I have a camera that fell on the ground the other day and it works but i only can use it to record and it wont let me use the other things because the wheel on the top is stuck

and i have warranty for it and was wondering if i can exchange it for a new one

well, read the warranty. it should say

Read the warranty carefully. It probably won't replace it because you dropped it, only if it malfunctions through no fault of your own.

I am so very sorry that the camera is broken, but no you can't I am afraid.

It's like buying a car and after an accident, you want to take it back to the dealer.

if its under warranty they will want to repair it.  I think that if they can't repair it, they will replace it for you, but make sure not to open it, because then you void your warranty.
