Returning a 360 for RROD repair

Hi, I'm trying to get my 360 fixed as it's gotten the Red Rings of Death. I called up and have the shipping label on the E-mail, the problem is that I always heard about having to get the Cardboard Coffin your supposed to ship it in though I don't see this in the instructions.

Basically I'm just asking, should I be waiting on this or should I use my own box (I still have the box that it came in, I believe that should do)?

  1. dont forget

put your reference number on the box you ship it in and on the console itself

take it to staples office depot or ups store along with your shipping label and they will get you a box and send it on its way

  3. nah i didnt get a box with it aswell, i think you only get one if u ask for th3 shipping note in the post not by email.

Just wrap it up in bubble wrap n try and get a big enough box to ship it in, dont send it in the original box, microsoft dont recommend it themselfs.

  4. i used the ups store if you have one where you are i would suggest it i got it shipped and back very quickly

also remember to remove your hard drive

  5. Don't send it in the 360 box. You might get jacked. Send it in a packaged box with the bubble wrapper wich you could buy in a post office. I did this and i got my XB back in 2 weeks.
