Returning a serve in tennis?

My friend served the tennis ball successfully and i returned back at him and it hit him in the stomach while he was in bounds. Whose point would that be. Mine or my friends?

  5. its your point, the ball can not touch the opposite player

    if you touch the ball with any part of your body, then you lose the point

    so you can technically aim for their body parts and keep scoring.

    unmoral though -_-

  7. it would be YOUR point. =) anytime the ball hits you it is called a "dead ball" and will be the opposing players point. for example: if Bob hits the ball and it is heading out of bounds, and Sam is standing out of bounds and the ball hits him before it bounces out, it is Bob's point.
