Question:

Returning items on eBay?

Lets say I bought an item on eBay. I got it and it was broken. Lets think of a price... lets say 10$ with no shipping cost. If it was fairly big, and would have to be shipped in a box, would you have to pay the shipping and handling? Because you would waste money, right? Or does the seller have to pay for your shipping?

  1. There is NO POSSIBLE way of paying anyone on THIS PLANET,,, 10$... It simply does NO EXIST..

  2. yes - you would have to pay shipping, so it might not be worth it - contact the seller and tell him it was broken and how does he want to handle it-he may or may not pay your shipping if he didn;t charge anything for shipping to begin with, no idea why he would that in the first place.

  3. Most sellers are willing to refund your money without you having to send the item back (you could maybe e-mail pictures if the item is physically broken). But it's different from seller to seller if they want you to pay the shipping if you're returning an item. Some sellers are very easy to deal with, and others really know how to make your life hard.
