Question:

Returning train tickets?

Hi,

I get the train everyday from Edinburgh to Motherwell with my tickets already bought for the week.

But over the past few weeks I've collected a lot of unused tickets due to driving through. Would I be able to return them and get a refund?

  1. Return both portions of each ticket within 28 days of the expiry date to get a refund, subject to an administration fee per ticket.

  2. You buy separate tickets for every day of the week? Why not buy a 7-day season ticket - it costs about the equivalent of 4.5 returns.

  3. ive never took a train before soo im not sure if u can get a refund. ive never heard anyone getting one so i dont think you can maybe if u talk to a manger or someone in charge maybe they can give u a refund but ive never heard u can so good luck
