Question:

Reusing an envelope?

Hey all, it's my brother's birthday on Monday, and I want to send him a DVD. I have the perfect envelope for it, but the thing is, it was sent to me. They stamped their return address on the top left, and there's also a red US Postage $2.50 on the top right. I was thinking of covering the top left, top right, and middle, with white pieces of paper, taping them on, and sending it to him after writing everything on the white paper and putting stamps on. Can this be done, or no? Do I have to pay extra since I am putting a DVD in there?

  1. Yes. As long as there's an address and stamp on it they'll mail a t**d. As for paying extra, they will charge you by weight, 1 stamp mails one ounce.
