Reusing foam sealant "straw"?

Question

I am using "Great Stuff" foam sealant and I know clean up is acetone and/or SOL if dried. My question is, does anyone know what to do with the straw to help make the next usage easier? I've used a clothes hanger pushed through to clean it out somewhat, but the can "oozes" a bit on shelf after use, and nozzle and squeeze apparatus gets clogged every time! Suggestions? Thanks

This has been one of the great mysteries of my life lol.  THIS time I tried cleaning the straw with a pc of coat hanger, then left it in there to be pulled out the next use.   For the nozzle, I cleaned it well with Q-tips then also left one in so it will (hopefully) pull out any hardened residue the next time I get ready to use it.
