Reve Du Jour likely to win 32red Handicap – Southwell Preview
Reve Du Jour is supposed to add second straight victory to her glorious career chart by finishing first in the 32red Handicap which will take place at Southwell racecourse on Tuesday, April 3.
The high-staked Class 4 contest over 6f distance has £4,075 of prize money. Reve Du Jour will break from Trap 5 when the action begins at 3:50 (GMT).
The Alan McCabe-trained by filly is all set to browbeat her six rivals including I ‘Ll Be Good, Al Shaqab, Abi Scarlet, Half A Billion, Scrooby Doo and Man Of My Word.
Reve Du Jour has been performing elegantly since the dawn of 2012. The brilliant filly bagged the maiden victory of her career on February 10. She moved forward to earn a runner-up rank each in three subsequent outings.
The maverick sprinter again gained a fantastic triumph in her last outing on March 20. This outstanding success streak has perked up the filly’s momentum to a great extent along with establishing her as a favourite fighter in the eyes of the bookmakers.
The three-year-old young runner made her debut in June 2011. Apart from these two triumphs, she has delivered some impressive performances in the other races as well.
Reve Du Jour’s chances to finish first in today’s marathon are as high as 90 percent provided she manages to sustain her winning momentum.
Among the other runners, Half A Billion and Abi Scarlet are also likely to demonstrate decent runs on the track.
Half a Billion excellent earned a runner-up rank in a big race on October 22, 2011. The Michael Dods-trained bay gelding achieved his maiden victory in his last outing on March 13, 2012.
On the other hand, Abi Scarlet superbly clinched top spot in the second race of her career on January 24, 2012. The trainee of Hughie Morrison finished second in the subsequent outing on February 9. Overall, she has run for four times to date.
Each of this duo has potential to give enough tough time to the hot favourite runner. Reve Du Jour will have to struggle hard for success. Good luck to the filly.
