Reversing the situation?

trying to help a good of mine friend out. his so obsessed with a girl, she likes him but is irritated with it so she just wants to be friends with him, not a bf/gf relationship. can he reverse this or should he give up

Tell him to slow down a bit.. he may seem like a creep to her now if he drewls all over her when she is around.. just tell him 2 keep his cool and act normal around her.. try chewing gum or something to keep his mind off her..
