Review of the News: Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool
BIRMINGHAM CITY
Birmingham’s defeat against Arsenal saw them drop to relegation zone; however yesterday’s win over Blackpool took them out of bottom zone but by only two points.
However, Birmingham boss is refusing to panic about his team’s position but he has made it clear that he will be in the transfer market this month.
McLeish said, "As far as I know relegation is not decided until May and there are a lot of points at stake. We have a lot of games to go still and we will start to panic if we are in this position in May. We will try to enhance the squad in January but we won't break the club in the transfer window."
Birmingham City are currently placed 15th in the league standing with 22 points under their belt out of 20 league games.
