  1. Avoid Palma Nova like the plague it like Blackpool on a very very very bad day, its very hilly and everything about it is very tacky.

  2. absolutely dreadfull only back a week and trust me will never go there again... (even if got for free) if your planning on goin there trust me DONT i wont even go into detail......

  3. Try one of the following web sites i always use them and find them really good and you get good and bad opinion

  4. Well done you for choosing Palma Nova. Don't listen to the first answerer, it is not anything like Blackpool- He obviously has not got a clue what they are talking about!

Anyway, its Benidorm which is Blackpools twin- Palma Nova is far too nice to be tarred with the same brush!

Palma Nova is a n excellent place for a holiday. It was actually one of the earliest purpose built holiday resorts on the island. The original fishing harbour still remains, but fishing boats are now in the minority when compared to the large expensive yachts moored in the nautical club and marina.

Both Palma Nova and Magaluf have fine sandy beaches with everything on hand to part you from your money. Watersports, glass bottom boat trips, as well as countless shops, bars and restaurants are all located along the wide traffic free promenades.

I'm afraid I cannot be quite so positive about your chosen accomodation. The Las Palomas is very very basic. Its 2 star accomodation and you do get what you pay for.

Its not the greatest place to stay although if you want to be near the beach, then it's ideal as it's literallly just a couple of minutes to the sand. I'd say from there, you're around 10 minutes to "the strip" which is the main nightlife thoroughfare

It does appeal more to a younger crowd in high season.

There is meant to be air conditioning, and if it's available it costs you 4 Euros a day.

Most people say that it's a clean place to stay but don't go expecting luxuries, they're not there.

Its' basically a room with beds and a sink/fridge.

If you're only looking for a cheap place to lay your head, then I guess it's worth a go, but I would not reccommend it for a family- too noisy!
