Question:

Revitalizing rescued plants

Wondering if anyone has any idea how to best revitalize some plants that I rescued? I stopped at what I thought was a plant sale and they were breaking everything down and said to take what I wanted, everything was free. I ended up with over 50 plants that I intend to share with my friends and neighbors once I've managed to make them look presentable again. Many were very dry, with wilted leaves and a lot of them are already looking much better this morning after a good watering yesterday. I just want to try to save as many as possible. Any suggestions?

Thank you,

J Davis

  1. cut back the worst ones and give them some shade

  2. You have already taken the best step, water.

You are going to have to check for the specific plants on how much water, what fertilizer, and what kind of sunlight each one likes.  If you have the names of the plants, just type in your search engine, "how to grow . . . " and they will be able to help.
