Revival Fire Friday - Folks of faith, do you find it...?

Question

this move in politics toward stronger faith refreshing? The Dems open and close their convention with prayer, both the Obamanator and Biden openly discuss their faith. McCain and Palin openly discuss their faith.

Isnt it refreshing?

Appreciate the spirit, but I agree with your second answerer.

When I hear the candidates talk about faith, I always feel it is just that, talk. Then to compare what they say to Orthodox faith, it is even more saddening.

Although Palin seems to really practice what she believes. The case in point would be her down syndrome son. That take guts to know ahead of time your baby will have down syndrome and still say I will have it anyways.

there is nothing greater.  i really love pres. bush for his total devotion to the lord.  but he is going to heaven for other reasons, hes going because he lied about iraq and killed all those children over there.  god bless george bush.  BUSH 08.

Refreshing?  Maybe a little scary.  Instead of pushing faith, why not live it and show it in the way you vote and where you stand on issues.
