  1. chances are, unless you have an allergy to the ingredients of the product, you'll be fine. washing well with soap and water is the key thing when it comes to flea products on your skin. it doesn't appear to have gotten in your eyes or mouth, so in general you should be okay.

    however, if you got any on your clothes, the manufacturer does recommend washing it professionally - regular home washing might not get it all out of clothes otherwise. i would gather that this probably pertains more to someone who spilled an entire tube on themselves rather than had some wiped on, but it's something to consider just in case.

    i get these things on me all the time and have never had any ill effects from it. lol, i guess the nice thing is, we probably won't get fleas, heartworms or ear mites, right?

    here's the manufacturer's safety sheets on it. keep in mind that the health hazards again usually apply to someone who's spilled the whole thing on themselves, then didn't wash it off and the potential results given are the worst case scenario:
