Reyamour fervent to finish first in Fillies’ Handicap
Reyamour is fully fervent to unleash a winning performance and finish first in the Crabbies “Spiffing” Alcoholic Ginger Beer Fillies’ Handicap, a high-stakes Class 4 contest that will be held at Chester racecourse on Saturday, June 9. The event will commence
at 2:00 (GMT).
The legendary trainer Alan King’s bay filly is carrying immense fighting spirit that she gained by bagging top spot in her last start on May 17, 2012.
The four-year-old novice runner emphatically defeated a dozen of competitors to claim the ace title of the Fonthill Stud Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.
This outstanding feat has boosted up the filly’s morale to a great extent. Prior to this, she had gained a 7th position on January 14.
After debuting with a third on June 28, 2011, the brilliant daughter of Azamour out of Reynosa broke her maiden on November 17.
As a whole, she has won 2 of her total 8 starts so far, earning £17,856 as prize money. Now, the maverick sprinter is confident to thrive against 8 rivals such as Jaaryah, El Torbellino, Cala Santanyi, Kathleen Frances, Elizabeth Coffee, Sugar Hiccup, Trend
Line and Smart Step.
Reyamour will produce an electric pace on the soft course of 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 66 yards while pursuing the prize cheque worth £5,822.
However, Sugar Hiccup can impede the filly. The David Simcock-trained bay filly elegantly finished as a runner-up in each of her last two starts. Prior to this, she had gained a grand victory on August 23, 2011. She has 9 races to her name.
If Reyamour fails to block this rival in the beginning, she will have to face music in the end.
Smart Step is too likely to do well today. The Mark Johnston-trained bay filly has won 4 of her total 22 starts so far. Her last victory came on April 18, 2012.
By and large, there will be a tough tug of war in the race. The event will have many twists and turns. Let us enjoy the amazing action and see who gains what. Good luck to all the runners.
