Reza Madadi set to make UFC debut in 2012 against Rafaello Oliveira – UFC News
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has signed up a new fighter in their list. They have made a deal with a Swedish-Iranian lightweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Reza Madadi. The 31-year old Madadi, an MMA fighter from
Iran specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and boxing.
Madadi is ready to make his debut in the UFC arena in 2012. Reports are that the Brazilian MMA fighter, Rafaello Oliveira, will face him when UFC goes to FX 1 in January 2012. The event will be held in Nashville, Tennessee when
Madadi, nicknamed Mad Dog will make his much-anticipated debut. The Iranian MMA fighter was eager to make his debut in North America’s most famous MMA fighting promotion called the UFC.
The UFC debutant has won eleven fights and lost two in his MMA career. His win record also includes successes over UFC legends with the likes of Junie Browning and Rich Clementi. He has also defeated World Extreme Cagefighting
(WEC) legend Carlo Prater. Madadi defeated Browning at Superior Challenge 5 in May 2010 through the guillotine choke.
Madadi then beat Carlo Prater at Superior Challenge 6 in October 2010. In April 2011, he won the fight against Rich Clementi at Superior Challenge 7, where he won the Superior Challenge Lightweight Championship.  Oliveria, nicknamed
Tractor, will have his hands full when he would enter the octagonal fight right against Madadi.  
Oliveira was on the sidelines because of his injury, which he sustained in his hand but his medical staff has given him the clearance to continue fighting. Oliveira confirmed his good health by saying, “Went to my doctor today
and he told me I am able to fight Jan 20, UFC on FX versus Reza Madadi,” Madadi, who started training at the age of ten and entered the world of MMA in his twenties, has fought in thirteen fights in his career. He also fought as a replacement in six fights.
 
Fighting in the UFC was Reza’s lifelong dream. On the social media, Madadi said "Finally after so many years of hard work and commitment, I received my long awaited UFC contract" His opponent, Rafaello Oliveira, has won fourteen
fights in his career and lost five with none going down as a draw.
