Rgoa Members Trophy at Romford – Grade A1 Race Preview
The Grade A1 race of Rgoa Members Trophy is going to be held at Romford racecourse on Wednesday night, February 29. It will be a £135 contest of 400m Flat distance.
The entries for the event include Pennys Clooney, Ballygodoon Majo, Centurion Jack, Noelles Romeo, Boofle and Lavally Sunrise.
Out of these six hounds, the trio of Centurion Jack, Pennys Clooney and Noelles Romeo are likely to fill up top three spots on the results card.
Following are the career charts of the three favourites:
Centurion Jack
P Young’s black dog won a couple of consecutive races during September 2011 followed by a big victory in December. In his last outing on February 21, 2012, the three-year-old veteran runner delivered outstanding performance and confidently clinched top position.
This fresh success perked up the dog’s confidence greatly. The son of Crash out of Bubbly Kate is all ready to show a big run again tonight at Romford. His recent stats and excellent skills have made him the hot favourite hound for this race. His chances
to finish first are as high as 85 percent.
Pennys Clooney
Since the dawn of 2012, E Gaskin’s black dog has been enjoying great form. After winning two races during January, he bagged a big victory on February 2.
The son of Ballymac Maeve out of Pennys Neptune finished fifth in his last two outings each. The novice runner has earned five triumphs since his debut in October 2011.
The dashing dog is expected to run to his utmost again tonight and finish at least second. However, he will pose tough challenge to Centurion Jack.
Noelles Romeo
The A Ingram-trained black dog won two back-to-back races with big margins during January 2012. These victories boosted up his morale greatly.
The son of Crafty Romeo out of Little Misshappy has been a consistent performer and winner since the very beginning of his career. He seems to be in a good position to do well tonight and clinch at least third top spot.
Conclusion
Each of the favourite trio is carrying immense momentum at the moment. Thus, the race will be a close and rip-roaring competition. Let us see how gains what. Get ready for the action. Good luck to all the runners.
