Valery Rheingold believes that Zenit St. Petersburg needs to sign Borussia Dortmund striker after selling injury-prone Aleksandr Kerzhakov this summer

Lewandowski caught the headlines after playing a key role in demolishing Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-final’s this season. The Polish footballer managed to score four goals against Los Blancos at
Westfalenstadion earlier this week.
The 24-year-old forward scored his 10th goal of the European campaign, having already scored against teams such as Malaga CF, Shakhtar Donetsk and Ajax Amsterdam respectively.
Lewandowski has now become the first player since 1960 and ninth player in the history of the tournament to score each of the four goals for any side during a semi-final of the continental tournament.

News in German media suggested that Lewandowski wants to leave his current club, with Russian and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 earmarked among his preferred destinations. If speculations are to be believed, Manchester City and Anzhi Makhachkala are
interested in signing him.
It has also been reported that Dortmund will let Lewandowski go only if any club will meet their 30 million Euro valuation of the player. The player’s agent, Mike Bartel, confirmed the media that his client will not extend his
stay at the German outfit.
Rheingold tipped the defending Russian Premier League champions to sign Lewandowski if they are to solve their striker problem.

Zenit will have to face stiff competition from Manchester United in order to sign the former Delta Warsaw man.
