Rheostat with powersun100 watt??

Can I use a rheostat with the powersun?? I heard it could blow

These bulbs need specific line voltage and using a rheostat can cause problems. On there website it says "cannot be used with dimmers/rheostats and can't be used with the dimmable clamp lamp, usage of these bulbs with any form of dimmable device will invalidate the warranty," so it's probably a bad idea. If its too hot, move it farther away or get a lower wattage bulb.
