  1. I had rhinoplasty & septoplasty when I was 14 for medical reasons. I had broken my nose 3 times and could no longer breathe properly. There was no external damage (like the usual bump that people get) - it was all internal.

Nose jobs are horrible. When you wake up your entire face hurts - even if you are drugged up on pain killers. Throwing up will be a horrible experience but chances are you're going to do it because your body has a hard time constantly processing the pain killers, anti nausea pills, and antibiotics.

Its painful and you have effects months after the surgery. You will literally be coughing up things that are the consistency of a bloody scab 6 months after the surgery. Its not a pleasant thing to go through and I would never willingly put myself through it for cosmetic purposes. Not to mention it takes your nose YEARS to actually heal.

Its 5 years later and I abhor going to the dentist because the vibrations from the instruments make the bones in my nose shift and can cause extreme pain. I can't wear a lot of sunglasses because I can't handle the pressure on my nose (which is doubley hard because I have bad eye sight and usually wear contacts since I can no longer wear my glasses).

So - if you still want to have a nose job then more power to you.
