does rhode island have like a 4 season thing??

can someone please explain the climates, like how many seasons does rhode island have??

  1. I live in RI.

    We experience all four seasons to a high degree.

    Summers are generally in the mid 80's although we will get days in the upper 60's lower 70's on occasion.  We will also get a few days in the upper 90's.  Moderately humid.

    Fall:  Rainy/thunderstorm season is in the late summer.  Leaves change colors and all that good stuff.

    Winter:  Sucks.  Expect to wake up every morning to temps below freezing w/ the day warming up to something above freezing. That is the normal anyway.  We get snow, but more often a mix.  just an hour ride further north and the rain is surely snow.  

    Spring:  rainy again.  If it is dry, the weather is perfect for outside activity.  

    I tried to avoid statistics and keep it more personal.  I figured you could google rhode island weather averages if you wanted that stuff.
