Are Rhubarb leafs poisonous?

  1. yes they are , so are green potatoes, chop them up and compost them , or boil them and use the solution as an insect deterrent, the rhubarb leaves that is.

  3. Yes.

    They contain a chemical called oxalate which can be poisonous if eaten in large quantities.  This is true even if the leaves have been cooked.

  4. Yes, they are highly toxic.  

    Eat some of the leaf, and at the very least you'll be spending an awful lot of time cramping and sitting on the throne.
