Rhythm Tengoku Gold R4 Problem?

I tried downloading ROMs from many sites and whenever I put them in my R4 and try to play them it says "Data cannot be read, please remove the cartridge and try again." in Japanese.

How do I fix this problem?

It seems like people are being able to download it and have it work properly.

You will need to upgrade the firmware for the R4. You can find it on the R4's official site. Just download the files, unzip/unrar, and replace the files in the R4 with those.
