The French international is confident that his teammate will make a strong comeback after a year of injuries last term.

and is nearing full fitness.

Ribery admitted that his teammate had a tough season last term as it is always frustrating to be out with injury. The French international stressed that the Bavarian is always willing to give his all for the team and his presence
in the side has always been influential.
“We all know Basti [Schweinsteiger]. He always wants to give 100 per cent for the team. Last season was really difficult for him,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Olympique Marseille man admitted that constant injury problems always hamper a player’s progress. He insisted that he has also had his share of injuries which is why he knows how frustrating it is.
Ribery is hopeful that Schweinsteiger will reach his prime before the season starts next month. He is confident that the midfielder will be ready in-time for the Bundesliga campaign and is looking forward to a successful campaign.
“He had a lot of injuries and that's never easy. I have had my fair share of injuries as well in the past few years, so I know how he feels. I really hope that he will become fit again and finds a good physio in Munich,” he concluded.
Franck Ribery has thus far made 129 league appearances for Bayern Munich in the five years he has been at the club and has scored an impressive 43 goals in the process. The winger also as 64 international caps to his name ad has
found the net on 10 occasions for the country.
