The Bayern Munich winger is targeting a win against Los Blancos in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Jupp Heynckes’ side will take on Real Madrid in the second of the two legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night. The former European champions got the better of Jose Mourinho’s side
when the two teams met at the Allianz Arena last week as the hosts won 2-1.
Ribery claimed that the second-leg clash in Madrid is the most important game he will play in a Bayern shirt. The winger admitted that he has been in sensational form in the last few weeks and wants to continue with the brilliant
displays in the weeks to come.
The former Olympique Marseille player added that the team will have to put in a similar performance to the second-leg if they want to get a decent result out of the match. He is targeting another win against the Spanish giants
on Wednesday and is confident of an impressive display.
“It will be the most important game of my career at Bayern. I'm in superb form at the moment. However, I can't eliminate Madrid by myself. It will have to be a great team effort. We can achieve something big if we manage to play
at the same level as we did in the first leg,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
