  1. I boil mine first,til they swell real good.Then I marinate them in my favorite sauce for a good part of the day.Then about 2 hours before supper time,I get the oven to 350 degrees."Slick the cookie sheet" put my ribs on,wait 45 minutes,baste,turn over,wait 30 minutes,baste,flip,turn off oven,wait 25 minutes,take out,let stand 15 minutes,put on serving platter,place on table,DIG IN.

  2. Bake, low & slow, I like to par-boil first, to speed them up.

Only broil for last 10 minutes, if not browned enough.

Be careful not to burn the sauce under the broiler.

  3. Always par boil first, then bake.

  4. Bake covered until they are tender, then uncover and let brown.  If you need it to brown fast, switch to broil, but open the oven door a crack to allow some of the heat to escape and keep an eye on it.

  5. You have to bake them SLOW!! I hope you boiled them first for maximum tenderness.

  6. wrap with foil bake 425 for 15 minutes(oven preheated then 300 for 1 1/2 hour. Uncover and broil 10 minutes.

  7. Bake 350 degrees covered until last half hour of cooking time, then baste every 10 to 15 mins til they are brown like you like them.

  8. Bake between 250 and 300 (and don't boil all the flavor out of them).  Finish them in a hot (450) oven with sauce or broil with the sauce on.  Watch carefully at that point!

  9. Bake.
