Rice Cereal vs Oatmeal Cereal for Baby?

My baby is almost 6mo. old. He eats rice cereal and most stage 1 foods. What do you think of Oatmeal Cereal in comparison to rice? My baby has never tried it and i never used it with my older son. Thoughts on rice vs oatmeal?

they say that oatmeal ia=s a little easier to digest ..i'm not sure ..my son is the same age and i recently started giving him oatmeal in the mornings with fruit and rice cereal in the evenings with veggie

well.. some people said that oatmeal is better then rice

but i give my baby both

i mix it with peach/ apple/ plum/ only milk when im lazy =)

oatmeal cereal is rougher though

so make sure that your baby is ready to chew
