Rice.com a hoax?

I found this website that claims to donate 10 free grains of rice to end world hunger for every vocabulary question you answer correctly. I was thinking of making it a daily habit, but first I want to know if they really donate or if it's just a hoax.

  1. FreeRice.com was started by a private individual (John Breen) and has no political, religious, or corporate affiliation. Breen, a computer programmer from Bloomington, Indiana also created thehungersite.com, therainforestsite.com and Poverty.com.

It is not affiliated with WFP, but the WFP has recognized it as a legit organization
