Rice krispies and marshmallows?

i remeber once that somebody made rice krispies bars/cakes with melted marshmallows! does anybody know how to do it!!?

  2. need to melt butter, then melt the marshmellows with the butter. I can't remember how much butter though. (sorry). Then you add your Krispies and spread in a pan. That's all. The recipe should be on the box.

  3. Don't use colored marshmallows it don't melt well, on box of rice cereal

  4. Rice Krispy Treats...yum!  The recipe is on the box...you need to get (or write it down while in the aisle) the Kelloggs brand for the recipe, but the store brand of krispies are fine to actually use....you need melted butter or margarine too....

    6 cups of rice krispies.. (a normal box is enough)

    1/4 cup butter/margarine

    butter a large rectanglar pan



    in a large sauce pan on stove on med high heat, melt butter and marshmallows till all mellows are melted, then remove from heat, stir/fold in cereal. quickly plop into buttered pan and with greased hands, pat down.. let cool and then cut in squares..

    i make these all the time for my kids... easy peasy

    3 tablespoons margarine or butter

    1 (10 oz.) package regular marshmallows

      - or -

    4 cups mini marshmallows

    6 cups Rice Krispies®

    Directions

    1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

    2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

    3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool. Best if served the same day.


  12. erm melt marshmallows in a sauce pan with a bit of butter and add rice crispies. put them in cake cases and let them cool. you could add melted chocolate too

    For best results, use fresh marshmallows.

    1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.

    Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.

    Store no more than two days in airtight container.
