Personally, I don't want to see this fight ever take place because they are my two favorite fighters. But if they were to meet, who do you think would win and why?

  1. isn't Forrest a bigger version of Franklin

  2. I would pull for Franklin. But for now, Forrest is the Golden Boy of the UFC. So unless its a KO, TKO or Submission, we all know who would get that win after 5 rounds....

  3. Forrest, Franklin is a great 185-pounder but he doesnt do much good in 205 in size. Griffin has evolved and if he continues to do so, we would be seeing him take his title defense for about 6 times.

  4. id have to give it to forrest, i think rich is a good 185 champ who could beat anyone in that division other than silva, but overall i just dont think he could hang with any of the top fighters in the 205 division

  5. I think Forrest Griffin would pull out a decision victory. Forrest has really come into his own defeating Shogun Rua and Quinton Jackson. His striking is nothing overwhelming but he has a great chin, an awesome gas tank, and heart like no other. Forrest is a big LHW and Franklin is a average sized LHW. The size difference in addition to Forrest's reach advantage would leave Franklin losing a tough battle. I love both of these guys and it would be amazing to see them fight.
