My Chinese dad makes a little over $3,000 per year

My American dad makes over $60,000 per year

18 years later. I want to attend college:

My Chinese dad can pay for my tuition and fees because he has a fund for my education.

My American dad cannot afford to pay for my tuition and fees beause he does not have money.

What is your question?

Your info doesn't surprise me.  Many Americans do not save and spend as soon as they can (or use credit cards).  Chinese do not have a retirement plan, so if they don't save, they will simply die or work until death as there is nothing to help them.

usually ppl w money do not invest it or use it wisely. ppl w less money usually know the value of it and will have a money plan.
