definatly Capri, this tiny island just off across the bay of naples and Sorrento is a stunning, full of designer shops and celebs... its like rodeo drive meets paradise... although beware we paid £6.oo for a small bottle of mineral water.!

I'm italian and I live in Rome, I can assure you that rich people live in Milan and Rome (parioli district, piazza di spagna, historical centre in general or they have villas in Appia street)  but, for their holidays, they go Sardinia with their yatch: portofino and north Sardinia. Otherwise they go abroad!
