Richard Pipes wrote trilogy about history of Russia but third volume ends when Lenin dies.

Somebody know that Pipes going to write last volume or maybe he did this but book is not officially in series?

He has written it - Russia Under the Bolsheviks written in 1994.

Although his works were reasonably good for their day - criticism from Sheila Fitzpatrick duly noted - They have been superceded by more recent works - largely because of the opening of the archives from 1991 onwards.
