The u.s.a has the most wealth but the dollar isnt the strongest.There are more millionaires and billionaires in america than anywhere else.However the u.s.a is in serious debht and they owe other countries allot of money.The british pound is the strongest currency because our economy is so strong but we arent the weatlthyest nation but we are very wealthy.

There are a number of different measure. If you just llok at total GDP, the US is the top country, but China is close and growing faster.

But most people look at GDP per capita. Which means Luxembourg and Norway top the list, with USA at 6 or 7.

I prefer the human development index, however. I mean what does rich people having money really mean if you are starving in the street next to his Mercedes? The human development index has Iceland and Norway at the top, US around #12.
