Richie Myler and Ryan Atkins extend their contracts with Warrington Wolves

While talking to reporters on Thursday, October 13, Warrington Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby, Tony Smith said that he is happy with the five new players that have agreed to extension of contract with Wolves.
The latest news at Wolves include the International players Richie Myler, Ryan Atkins, Rhys Williams, Simon Grix and Matty Blythe who have all agreed contract extensions at the club
While speaking about their contract extension, the head coach stated, "I'm delighted to re-sign five young British players who have had tremendous seasons and who are looking to keep on improving. It shows their commitment and the direction that the club
is heading in as well as their desire for success, which suits the ambition of our club."
The Myler and Atkins, both joined the club two years ago and now with their recent extension at Halliwell for two more year, the pair is booked here until 2015.
Simon Grix, will be seen at the club, for another four years with a three-year extension at the club. If the prop completes his next four years at the club, he will successfully complete his ten-year stint with the franchise.
Rhys Williams, whose contract recently expired, has agreed to a fresh one-year deal with Warrington. Blythe who made his debut in 2007 through the club youth system, will remain at the club until the end of 2014.
These were the latest updates within Wolves and the club’s coach is very excited about the retention of the five players. According to him they have spent a brilliant stint at the club, which is expected to get even better with time.
Their uptake for the club will benefit it a great deal because these players are reaching out for even better performance, which is in line with franchise’s mission.
This step taken at the club speaks a great deal about the franchise’s commitment and the belief the players have in their club, which was translated through their extension.
