their tour of Bangladesh over the next few weeks.
“We all know, the world knows, we are capable of being the World Champions again,” said Richardson while speaking to media reporters on his team’s arrival in Bangladesh yesterday.
“We see a long way to go in order to bring West Indies cricket back to the top ... [But] We are prepared to do whatever it takes to get back to the top,” he added further.
The West Indies, a reckoning cricketing force of 1970s and 80s, have had struggling ten years at the start of the new millennium. The decade saw the Windies hitting the all time lows, Brian Lara’s form being an exception. However, their emergence as the

in more than 30 years.
