only if you average everything out when he was an everday starter. He's never been just a specialist who plays part time against lefties, and that's what the Yankees are using him as. You can't say that Richie is great against lefties and then expect him to just become a part time specialist after 12 years in the majors being a starter. This is the mistake that Joe Girardi is making. Sexson is only good when he plays everyday and then after you average out his year, his BA against lefties is always higher, but not if you plug him in as a specialist. This experiment will fail, mark my words, you agree?

  1. he did get a sack fly at least he helped somewhat

  2. I totally agree with you ! I was shocked the Yankees signed him It tells me they are desperate.

I cannot believe the DBacks just obtained Tony Clark-again.

  3. Sexson is just not very good.  The past two seasons he's been horrible.  This experiment was doomed from the beginning.  It doesn't matter how they use him.

  4. So are you saying they should start him full time or that they should bench him? Also, he's not that good anyway.

  5. baseball is boring.
