Do you think Richmonds improvement this season, and since 2004 in general, should be enough to make the Tiges re-sign Terry?

Compared to where we were in 04, i reckon we have come ahead in leaps and bounds!!

(ok so we didnt have a great 07 , but who did apart from Gelong?)

I would like to see Terry get another 3 years.. thru to 2112

  1. im a true tigers supporter and personally i think Terry is fantastic, so look at it from his perspective when he was signed we were in the s***s and we were c**p as, he started with a young fast side and has done so well, although we got the wooden spoon last year(which i think is good coz we got cotchin) h**l, we've had great wins this season, and every team must go down at some point (for example look at melbourne they used to be awesome a few year ago, look at west coast how shite are they now),(and on the reverse look at the dogs, the cats, remember they were gonna sack there coach, and look at hawthorn all are really when after they were down for so long), so i think they will definatly sign him again he's done great with what he was given

  2. zero, Im not a Richmond supporter as such, but I love them anyways ;)

I think Terry should stay for another 3 years as you can credit him for the success the Tigers have had this year for sure.

*fingers crossed they can make the 8*!

  3. No, no and NO we have been through this before,we make improvement with some young talent coming through then the wheels fall off, Miller has gone now let Plough coach out his contract and get a new vibrant coach, please don't fall back into Wallace

  4. WAIT A MINUTE.... you're asking them to give Terry a 103 year contract? thats a bit much, isn't it?

  5. This is a tough question, is Wallace a good coach or is the fruit starting to ripen perhaps,  Delideo, Tambling etc these blokes are still only very young, they had to improve sooner or later.  If Terry is telling the boys to put away the cue 5-7min out, when we hit the front, then he should go, we have gotten into so many winable positions this year only to lose or draw(bullies).

Compared to 04 etc, we have def improved, we no longer give up and the boys genuinly believe they can win the game, the old 'fight and fight and win' is back. But is this Wallace' doing, these blokes play for each other,  the p***k incident would of gelled these blokes together like you can't believe.

I would go as far as giving him 2 years, not 3, i like the bloke don't get me wrong, but a lot of our good work now is what Greg Miller done, he recruited most of these guys that are now firing, Nathan Brown was another,

just a footnote to the young bloke who said we need a full forward, small who can kick goals etc,   we have that, n.brown, we have an up and coming forward, Jack Riewoldt, (and Mitch Morton)  what we need and have neded for many years is quality backmen and midfielders, the midfielders are just about there, Johnson still makes too many mistakes, coggs has had a wretched couple of years, the backline is looking ok with Newman, Moore, Thursfield, Kingy(when he gets back) even young rainsy,  with his dash, but we still need that big solid CHB and FB,  Alex Rance, could fit the bill guys, hasn't played a senior game yet, but i think he's not far away, he will play a big part in our future in defence, plenty of run and a big boy.  fingers crossed.

  6. hi mate

i thing his doing a very Good job with what his got

Richmond needs a full forward , 1 more good midfielder and a very goods Small forward that can kick freaky gaols

if he can get this players he should stay

  7. Richmond HAVE improved so we need to decide, can Wallace go all the way? I don't think so. 2 years max and then new blood.

  8. no he is not the man for the job

  9. Why not resign him?

Who else would want the job? Maybe Mick Malthouse when Collingwood give him the flick!

  10. Sorry, not a Richmond Supporter but have they come far enough, quick enough to give him another contract??

Although his decision to play Richo up the ground has been pure genius

  11. I'm not a Richmond supporter but:

I think Wallace has done a fantastic job at the club, and even though it took a  while to rebuild, the team seems to be on the improve this season. However, I don't think he is the man to take the Tigers to a premiership.

If the club did re-sign him, I would say it should be for 1-2 years, but not long term.
