Richmond to pay Fremantle's David Mundy $1 million for a 3 year deal. Who is David Mundy?

I think hes played the odd game or two for the Dockers but one million dollars for a player of his calibre??? When will Richmond learn?

David Mundy is someone who cant hold

a regular spot with Freo but we will guarantee

him a game for three years. Or we will pay him to

be at the club for three years.

We do that all the time. We signed Troy Simmons

up for 5 years, and we did the same with Trerry

Wallace.Why do you think we havent been in the

Mundy is just one of those players who cant string 2 or 3 matches together without loosing a bit of form, i dont get why richmond will pay him that much if he is not consistant, and consistancy is the key that gets afl players paid so much (eg. chris judd, carlton).

FREO have him he is a better then average young player but freo dont get rid of him cause like everybody else u have got rid of he will do h**l better at a different club

David Mundy has been on the improve this year & shows promise - but I think he is frustrated by not holding down a regular spot in the Freo line-up.

If Richmond do offer him that amount of money & throw in a three year deal he would be a fool to refuse it. It goes without saying - Fremantle have a habit of not identifying promising players at their club - they cut or swap so many who make a success of themselves at another club.
