Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan and Ben Crane talk about their new music video
So the new music video is out featuring Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan and Ben Crane. The video, apart from getting over a million hits, did raise a few questions, the most common of them; What is going on?
Why did Rickie, Bubba, Hunter and Ben collaborate outside a golf course and in a lounge crowded with hot women? Have their careers taken a U-turn? Have they given up on golf? Or they just wanted to have some fun?
To answer all these questions, the four golfer-c*m-models were invited for an interview at the headquarters of Bettor.com. Here is how the interview went.
Reporter: Hello boys! Welcome to bettor.com. So tell us about your venture.
Rickie Fowler: Since I am the youngest here, let's start with me. Well, thanks for inviting us over here. The whole experience was fascinating and it surely paid off, when we received the feedback.
Bubba Watson: The kid is right. Few weeks before the US Open, we paid a visit to the Congressional Country Club to analyse the course layout and after playing the first nine holes, we realized that we wouldn't be able to make it
to the top five even, so why not do something else to catch some media attention.
Reporter: Attention?
Ben Crane: Yeah man, just look at our past performances and it is quite evident that winning the US Open is not meant for us Americans. The Claret Jug is bound to go in the hands of some European.
Reporter: So what you guys mean is that Europeans are more worthy of winning the US Open on the American soil?
Hunter Mahan: Dude, my nine-year experience as a pro on the PGA tour has taught me a great lesson; the real test of a golfer is not winning at a home course, but to conquer the most unfamiliar grounds in unfamiliar conditions.
Reporter: So as you said, you people received a phenomenal response from the public. Tell us something about that.
Rickie Fowler: Yeah sure. Firstly, our video received humongous number of hits from people around the world and secondly, Justin Bieber called me personally and he asked me to join him in a duet. Bubba was offered an advertisement
from a men’s saloon. The saloon claim they can change a bear into a man. They felt Bubba would be an ideal portrayal of their hook, Bubba is ecstatic. Ben was offered a job at the men’s version of hooters in which he will have to wear Texan and Native American
costumes.
Reporter: That seems nice. So did you do this for publicity?
Bubba Watson: Man, do you think I need publicity? I am the longest hitter on the PGA and the European circuit, which means that I don’t need any publicity. But, yes I am looking for a new career and if singing works for me, then
I will choose it over golf.
Rickie Fowler: Same goes for me.
Reporter: Rory McIlroy is leading the 54-hole session by far. What are your views about this?
Rickie Fowler: Rory is a great golfer, but he seems to get panic attacks, as soon as he steps into the final round. I hope he keeps his cool this time and does not destroy his chance of making history.
Ben Crane: Rory is going well, but what the future holds is for everyone to see. Yet, I wish him best of luck for the coming Sunday.
