Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton vs. Paulie 'Magic Man' Malignaggi?

Do you think that this fight should happen and if you do who do you think will win it.

I think Malignaggi could surprise Hatton with his slick style and handspeed which helped Mayweather to beat him.

Hatton... Paulie wont be able to take the constant pressure and roughness of Hatton, Paulie wont beat Hatton by using his jab, Hatton doesnt mind taking a few jabs to the face while coming in to smuther his opponents with short combos,rough housing, and clinches which will eventually slow Malignaggi down.

Paulie Malignaggi is in no way shape or form Floyd May weather. People might think because both are boxers what worked for Floyd is Paulies blueprint. Hatton has trouble with boxers true but with guys that can find a way too keep him off of them. Ricky's speed was even giving Floyd problems not allowing him time to think. That's why when Joe Cortez broke up the action Floyd would step back and make Ricky work to get on the inside again hoping to tire him out. Floyd is also more accurate than Paulie when he throws combinations they land opposed to Paulie who just punches at a guys gloves sometimes. I think with Malignaggi having less than 10 knockouts he has no real chance of hurting Hatton he is the smaller guy with no power or strengh to keep a Ricky Hatton away Paulie cant depend on Joe Cortez to break up the action. Hatton would maul him just like he did Kosta Tzysu and WWE wrestle his way too a victory. The Jr Welterweight division is really dead right now i don't see why would even go back there. Everybody is at welterweight.

I think this will be another version of hatton vs mayweather.  Altho i think this time hatton will prevail by UD.  Malinaggi took cottos best shots and was cut and showed heart as he got destoryed by cotto.  Malinaggi is slick but i dont think he can keep the constant pressure of hatton off of him, i expect a hatton victory no doubt, his pressure cannot be handled by malinaggi, Hatton by UD.

I think that is the most natural matchup at 140.  Good contrast in styles, it would be an interesting fight to see.  I don't think Malignagio has the strength to keep Hatton at bay.  I also think Malignaggi knows Hatton would beat him, so we'll never see that fight.  Malignagio is probably the most protected fighter nowadays, he makes Calzaghe look a guy that takes on all comers.

a boring fight i like both fighters but it just wouldnt be entertaining, unless paulie is at his best an ricky is at his best but i dont think that will ever happen, it seems like the premoters are trying to get the fight to happen.
