How would Ricky fare if Honeyghan was about at his best 22yrs ago,and he moved up a notch to fight the self styed'Ragamuffin man',one of the most unpopular British fighters besides Naseem Hamed in British boxing history.Personalities aside Honeyghan was fast and very strong, would Ricky tame him, bareing in mind Ricky's performance aginst Mayweather in December.I know what I think, what do you reckon?

  1. i think lloyd honeyghan would have won..because ricky hatton would only have been 7 yrs old

  2. Honeyghan would have been way too good for Hatton. Look what he did to Don Currey. He was a much better boxer with cleaner, harder and more effective punches. Ricky is basically just a pressure fighter, albeit a pretty good one, and Honeyghan would KO him in 9 rounds.

  3. it would have been a good fight, but don't judge Hutton just on the Mayweather fight he was beaten by a great fighter,i think Ricky would have beaten Lloyd but who knows it could have been all about one punch

  4. I think Honeyghan would have beaten Ricky Hatton, Hatton is the best light welter out of Britain but hes not a welter weight and Lloyd Honeyghan was a good welter, i pick Honeyghan not because i think he is a better fighter...but he is bigger and a true welter

  5. i believe that honeyghan would beat hatton...if not by late stoppage, then by decision.
