Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has stated that he was happy to see some talented youngster in the squad and will be eagerly looking forward to guiding them in the best possible way.
The veteran batsman is now representing Australia as a senior member in international cricket, as he stepped down from captaincy after his team’s loss in the Quarter-Final of the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
However, there was no doubt over Ponting’s ability as a batsman, as he scored a fabulous century in his last innings as captain. He took the decision before the national selectors could sack him from the role.

However, the 36-year-old stated that apart from playing well, his role is to help the youngsters in the side as well. He added, “I'm trying to help them learn as fast as possible, so I'm really enjoying that role to tell the truth. I'm no doubt training
as hard as ever and that's important for me to keep that hard work up. I'm a lot more relaxed with the things I can do outside of the training paddock.”
