Ricky Walden aiming for strong season run: 2012 Wuxi Classic snooker tournament
Final encounter of the 2012 Wuxi Classic snooker tournament finished in favour of 2008 Shanghai Masters snooker tournament winner Ricky Walden who was able to defeat the 2011 Australian Goldfields Open snooker tournament winner Stuart Bingham by the score
line of 10-4.
Walden dominated the game from the beginning and did not give any chance to Bingham to capitalise during the tussle.
The first two sessions were a Walden show as he breezed into six frame lead in reply to Bingham’s one-frame victory. Despite the fact that Bingham did come back in the third session, he was unable to unsettle his opponent with his game-play. The Englishman,
Walden cleared the table in the next three frames to make sure he grabs the 2012 Wuxi Classic snooker event title the Wuxi Sports Center arena in Wuxi, China.

and try to redeem the result.”
He added, “I've not got any targets, I just want to keep enjoying my snooker, travelling to as many tournaments as I can just play well, like I've started to this week.”
He will next take part in the upcoming 2012 Australian Goldfields Open snooker tournament where he will again be facing top guns including his 2012 Wuxi Classic final opponent, Stuart Bingham who will be defending the title. It will be interesting to see
how Walden manages to build up some confidence and carry his winning momentum throughout the new snooker season.
