Sporting Lisbon’s Ricky van Wolfswinkel suffered a hip injury against Nacional and is set to be sidelined for an undetermined period of time.

However after undergoing further examinations, Sporting have revealed that their prized asset may have hurt his abdomen muscles instead of his hip.
"He might have a possible oblique muscle injury in the abdomen,” a club statement said.
While it is not certain for how long the attacker will have to be on the sidelines, Sporting do have other front-man to continue in his absence.
