Rid of scar tissue from nose ring?

how do i get rid of the scar tissue left behind from a nose ring? its a dark like purplish color and it just looks dirty...how do i get rid of it?! lol

exfoliate and hopefully over time it will diminish but since it's scar tissue it's hard to say..you may want to see a dermatologist about that if it's really bugging you
